FSR 2014

2014 will be full of interesting activities and Conferences we are already looking at.

“Faster, Smarter, and Richer: Reshaping the Library Catalogue” is the name of an International Conference that will take place in Rome next 27-28 February 2014 and is organized in cooperation with the Italian Library Association AIB (Associazione Italiana Biblioteche) and the Vatican Library.

The library catalogue is the core of every library, the instrument allowing every service and transaction possible in an efficient way. In a fast changing scenario, where electronic publications and on-line resources are exponentially growing, catalogs must adapt if they want to continue being the useful tool they’ve always been.

LIDA 2014

Libraries in the Digital Age (LIDA), a biennial international conference, will be celebrated next 16 – 20 June 2014 at Zadar, Croatia. It focuses on the transformation of libraries and information services in the digital environment.

 Call for papers is now open, until 15 January 2014.
