TechSoup for Libraries

TechSoup for Libraries is a nonprofit project “devoted to making technology and technology education available and affordable to nonprofits and libraries all over the world”. It has its roots on the MaintainIT Project, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. You can get ideas of different libraries for supporting their computers at the tab “Cookbooks”, visit their blog or subscribe to their newsletter.

EIFL-PLIP Innovation Award

EIFL’s Public Library Innovation Programme (EIFL-PLIP), a project supported by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has launched its latest award call. The fourth edition of this award is focused on innovative library services using information and communication technology.
