Approved by the European Parliament on 19 November and by the Council of the EU on 5 December 2013, Creative Europe is a support programme for Europe’s cultural and creative sectors from 2014 to 2020.

“Faster, Smarter, and Richer: Reshaping the Library Catalogue” is the name of an International Conference that will take place in Rome next 27-28 February 2014 and is organized in cooperation with the Italian Library Association AIB (Associazione Italiana Biblioteche) and the Vatican Library.
The library catalogue is the core of every library, the instrument allowing every service and transaction possible in an efficient way. In a fast changing scenario, where electronic publications and on-line resources are exponentially growing, catalogs must adapt if they want to continue being the useful tool they’ve always been.
