Copyright in Europe

Last year, the European Commission launched a public consultation on issues on Copyright Rules, trying to harmonise the Copyright laws and the impact of digital technologies. We published a post about it last 30 January.

On 5 March 2014 EBLIDA (European Bureau of Library Information and Documentation Associations) submitted their response to this consultation. You can read a briefing and access the full pdf document at their web page.  LIBER (Association on European Research Libraries) set out its position on the same issue through a statement accessible through this link and so did EIFL last 7 March in its seven point plan.

Please, tell us what you think about it!
