“Libraries in crisis” at The Huffington Post

Nowadays in the crisis scenario, libraries are threatened by cuts affecting staff, opening hours and budget. More than ever, libraries have to be defended as what they are: public spaces supporting the community they serve specially in times of global crisis.

The Huffington Post has released a series called Libraries In Crisis, for putting in value the role of libraries today, how they use technologies for developing services and what is the model of the libraries in the future. In other words, they’ve created a debate space for the general public around libraries.

Please, tell us what you think about it!
